So how much do you charge your clients?
For time
For prints
For petrol money to get to the wedding

It varies considering how large an album package and what level of service they have contracted for.
For just a couple of hours and 4x6 proofs, one location, minimal service, it's about $600. My top package is over $3000 but the average falls somewhere between 1600 - 2100. This is for the basic package. Additional enlargements, parents albums, etc. would be extra icing on the cake. :D

Well I thought you would have packages. Was jsut wondering what peoples packages were. Prices and what they give.

Who said there's no such thing as a stupid question?;)
Wedding photographers charge about the price of a 2nd hand car - of course for some people that's a 10yr old Escort and for some it's a vintage Bentley.
If you want to research what the market stands where you are, you'll have to research your competition, both in terms of quality and packages / prices. There's no rule of thumb. The average income on the Channel Islands isn't the same as in South Yorkshire, or indeed New Zealand or San Fransisco (anywhere you'll find other POTNers). Likewise, disposable income or even the price of quality processing or albums. If there isn't enough competition to research locally, look for somewhere in the SE of England (about the closest match you'll find).
My competition ranges from traditional 2hr coverage in a simple album for about £400 to all day coverage by 2 or more shooters, an A3 montage album with matching parents albums for about £3000. I come somewhere inbetween:)

I do a all day package, paying by the hour is silly to me, you end up nick and diming the couple and I want to make sure I get to cover their whole day to make the most complete album available.
Prints, theres a standard print price, they may get a print credit as past of their package, they get to decide what its used towards. Same with albums.
if its local, nothing. If its more than say 50 miles away, whatever the standard travel rate determined by the IRS.
