Just want to see if anyone here has any insight on how to get going at trying to sell their work.

Like if you try and sell something to a postcard printing company, how much would you ask to sell the rights for a print to them?

How would you start?

Where would you begin?

Does anyone here have any experience about the fair market value and such?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ferdinand

Start off by either going to the library or buying The Photographers Market Guide which will give you some good info on companies which are willing to look at your work. If I remember correctly, spme of them even list rates they pay.

"Sir? I am no Sir, I work for a living, you call an officer Sir, they don't work for a living"......from some movie I saw.

Besides being a curmudgeon, I have no command of sentence structure!

see my last post.
