Question on the canon 1.4 converter

I have the drebel and a Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Autofocus Lens. I was wondering if this conveter will auto focus and will the quality of the photos suffer much. I like to take pictures of wildlife and motor sports mostly. Thanks for any help.

Your lens is not on the compatibility list. List is a select group of "L" lenses.

You can get a Kenko that would fit on that lens.

But at 300mm + TC you'd be over f/5.6 and would lose AutoFocus.
