My cousin asked me to photograph some tulips for a poster she wants in her hall. I have now taken three photos. What do you think? Also, if anyonw has an awsome idea on what to do with tulips I'm very interested to know.

Outstanding work Mattias!

You really don't need ideas from others - your work will inspire!

I do have a few tulip shots in my 'Miscellany' gallery if you care to look; something abstract like my infrared tulips might be interesting if you did them in full color.

Your images are very professional .. crisp, colorful and clean.

As reqards tulip ideas, I wanted to link you to the 8 winning shots amoung 800 amateur entries in Ottawa's 2003 "Tuipfest contest". I was a winner last year and so its "official" --> I am one of Ottawa's "Best Blooming Tulip Photographers" !

Here in Ottawa, photographers submitted a great variety of still life shots, tulips in flower beds, tulips at night, tulips and landmark buildings, etc. In that sense you own images cover one aspect of "Spring" variety, macro and close up in red. They are sure to be a hit. Ottawa had somewhat similar submissions along with images that included dozens if not hundreds of flowers in an outdoor setting.

Spring is in the air.
