Black Helicopter rocks, and in a way totally consistent with my standards as applied to rock music, which were firmly established in the late 80s/early 90s. not surprising since they are formed from members of former boston bands like Kudgel and Green Magnet School. i love that sound, and these guys nail it. great show.

Paper Thin Stages was also on the bill, but i didn't know anything about them. they played angular, wiry guitar rock, kinda like Polvo, though not nearly to that level imo. not bad, maybe i will give 'em another shot. good band to watch, though...good energy.

Even though softish I really like #2 ... just a nice glow and movement ... that's what the world looks like to me after two beers! :-)

#2, 3 and 8 are very nice!
Bit too much highlight recovery on #1: Greyish highlights...
