Hey guys I just signed up on this forum yesterday after ordering my 30d. This pic of my dog however was with my 350d. Lens was 70-200 f/4L. Please critique it and let me know how to improve. One main concern is if you guys like the PP work?

I really like the shot (and the PP). I have a yellow lab and just love the breed. I think the fence adds a pleasing texture to the background.

HTR,
I really like what you did with this photo. It could definately stand a bit of sharpening. What do yo mean by "washed his face"?
By the way, its a she:D

Cloned out the slobber and what not on her face. I like the shot, even with the fence. The PP one looks better with the usm. Great shot though, and welcome to the forum.
(P.S. 800x800 max size for photos on here)

I removed some White slobber on her face under eye and muzzel. Used unsharp mask to 55 and pixel at 1.3 and just brought up saturation to bring out sparkel in eye.
