Hi, greetings everyone, I am new to photography and this forum. I bought a canon S3 for a month, and have been learning and taking pictures with it. I would like to ask for advise on settings to improve picture qualities, or someone to point out some obvious mistakes. Thanks to everyone for their help!
The picture below is just to see if l can link to my pictures there.

Welcome to POTN, I took a quick look at your site, You did a great job with the bird shots, I think the WB is off on the squirrel. the Pines w/snow seem to be exposed properly without gray snow.Learning photography continues for as long as you continue to shoot. Just when you think you master one technique, You find yourself wanting to learn another, and another, and another...
You are off to a great start, but if you want to learn more about exposure I would recommend Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively both are by Bryan Peterson and available on Amazon for under $20. each. they are great if you want to start off on a "self taught" route, Courses are another option. WARNING! Photography is habit forming and can get expensive  (this forum helps feed the habit)
Enjoy the journey!

Nice bird shots!
There is a LOT of info in the the "Sticky"s at the top of many of the parts of the forum. Like..."Talk About Photography", "RAW, Post processing and printing", "Small Flash and Studio Lighting", etc., as well as in other areas of the forum.
Be sure to take the time to look through them all. If we didn't think that they would help, we wouldn't have bothered to write them? ;)
