Hey there everyone. My name is Mike and I am from Binghamton NY. I currently have a Canon S2IS and absolutely love it. I am looking forward to upgrading to a dSLR in the near future.

Nice shots here. I love the first one.

Watch out for your lighting. Unless you are going for a specific look, try not to shoot against a strong light source like a window, light, or the sun. The cat and dog pics are great and very sharp, but the strong light blowing out the detail takes alot out of the overall image. The floor can be cropped out infront of the dog, but the cat would definately benefit from a darker background.

Remember that is it the little things that make simple pictures into great photographs. Keep posting new work, and keep learning.
