I like the sunset and the colours, but would prefer to see some trees or something else in place of the street sign and electricity poles. I know you were trying to emphasise the lonely road, but it doesn't really work with this particular composition.
However, you may be able to improve on this picture by straightening it in photoshop so the road does not slope down, and cloning out the sign to the far left that is only half showing.
The area certainly has potential, as that sunset is gorgeous, and the colours are beautiful. I would definitely go back if I could.

Ahh, Trick is however, the camera isn't tilted... the Road is going up a hill, This can be seen as the electric pole in the background is vertical and the clouds are horizontal.
