Wonderful series Alan oh for Spring/Summer :)
Not sure why but I'm particularly drawn to the last pic even though the flower is blown a bit.

thanks mark the fly shot is actually my fave of the bunch (it was taken in natural light so i think that's got something to do with it,,,, I was at my limits of hand holding ability here.. 1/80 @ F/8 ISO 400 in case yer wondering) however i'm quite fond of the shot with the 2 hoverflies just because you don't see 2 on the 1 flower very often nevermind get a shot of it :)
These are excellent :D
thanks Omri

Excellent series Alan, roll on Summer eh! I especially like the hoverfly in flight shot, it's sharp, and I know that that's hard to do. The fly shot is quite nice as well, yay for natural light. Like you, I've had a crack at natural light shots of late, and it's damn well hard, especially with the Sigma 150mm being such a bigger lens, pushing my shutter speeds up.

nice work, the stand out shot for me is #2 - high on impact! I wonder if the 30D/40D rather than the 5D would be a better combo for macro with the MPE65 ? Even with this lens there appears to be a problem filling the larger sensor with small subjects.

My favorite is #2, Excellent shots from the archives. If you choose to use the 5D and the MP-e65 combo, you will like it, I know I do. Great work Alan.:D

my favorite is the hairy guy in the first shot, but they are all really great shots.
