This basenji puppy was one of 3 litters in the yard that day. Imagine a baker's
dozen of these tikes scrambling all over you, tuggin your hair, diving in to lick your
face, and poking smudges on your lenses with thier little cold wet noses.


I had a basenji/ golden retriver mix she was my bestest friend in the whole wide world. she pasted in march 4 day after my birthday.

Here is my dog, JoJo.

He is a white Staffordshire Bull and is just over 15 years old.

He is getting old now, and was in the vets last week - If he doesn't improve this week, he may be put down next week. So fingers crossed for him! :)

I have also had this printed and framed, and it will be a present to my father, who is JoJo's best friend!

She was a beauty Gail! Thanks. More beauty inside than out. Hope all who are facing the same weather it okay. Wish they lived as long as we do. Doesn't happen though. the title of this thread makes me want to start a thread called "best street/stray dog photo" - haha, sarcasm, but unfotunately in Ukraine we have street dogs every where pretty much... but here is my best pic of my little buddy Latte, he is a cocker spaniel - taken with 100mm f/2.8 - only thing done in photo shop is like a lot of diffusion and a little saturation boost - i know the crop wasn't perfect, but i took what i could get while it was all in focus!

well, to be honest i have no idea... but i have never seen or heard of any action being taken regarding the street dogs - i'm sure its on a European Union admittance check sheet somewhere -

"EU requirement #786: Must be no street dogs within 100 meters of downtown shopping district"

haha, thats a joke too... see its probably one of those things where the government is like, well maybe after we start getting the trash picked up regularly, water running 24 hours a day, pave the streets at least once in between revolutions, fix the electric lines so the trolley busses don't come off their tracks every day, put all the street kids in a home... the list just goes on and on...

one day... but it is kind of funny to go shopping and see the same dogs hanging out by a given establishment day in day out (not to mention right outside our apartment) - but its sad, as a dog person, to see them in such condition...
