Another mallardxfarm duck. All mallard except his 3 outermost primaries. For so many farmxmallard ducks I'm photographing in these flocks they sure are "wild". I'm having a hard time getting closer than 30 yards.

Nope. Even though some of these ducks show some peking or other domestic breed traits they are as wild as they come. These birds get out of there if you get closer than 30 yards or so. Today I had good results hunkering down in full camo in some brush along a bend that they like to sit and was lucky enough to have them come back.

About feeding them, it is actually best not to feed wild animals. It is never good when animals become dependent on humans and feeding areas are usually a vector for disease.
