We just bought a Canon Rebel XTi a few weeks before Christmas and I've just started a photography course last week.

I took these late this afternoon while driving. I thought they turned out pretty good. I just cropped them a tad to take out part of a field.
C&C ???

The golden tones are nice and I church steeple in the skyline is interesting.

The second image is a definite keeper. Even though the sun is dead smack center, this perspective along with the steeple makes for a very pleasing photograph. As Dacoda Image said, the warm golden tone is a nice touch.

I think these are great! i'm a HUGE fan of sunsets, and these are definitely keepers-

I'm always a sucker for a nice sunset, and I find my XTi produces extremely rich and vibrant ones. Very nice captures.

Love #2 because of the great steeple silhouette, #1 is a keeper but not as strong.

Hello Sister,

I love number one for the contrast between the trees and the striations of clouds behind them - makes for good contrast and adds to the feeling of what season we are in.

And number two the skyline of course, nice golds and oranges...

Hello to you my Jeeping Sister(Red Wrangler driven by a sistah here in So Cal). To the OP. Great colors in those sunsets. My first sunset didn't look like that. I always love those oranges and yellows in sunsets.
