I like the facial expression of the guy on the right in #1....is that a fish he's holding? lol, surreal :D
#2 is great, but IMHO the ground on the bottom should be cropped out a bit more....other than that it looks good.

Great shots.
I agree that a bit of cropping would make number 2 stronger, but I would actually try cropping out a bit of the top given the blown out sky. Of course we all have different opinions on this, so I don't think there is one right way to do it.

It is a 13 inch carp ! We all smell like burned fish now. This was a 5th alarm just around the corner in a warehouse freezer.

I was gonna say that looked like a heck of a fire considering how warped the I beams are. Did you happen to get any shots durring the fire worth sharing?

Too busy manning the pump to shoot. Fire was very hot and the roof collapsed early in the night. There was the constant threat of ammonia leaking from the chillers.
