Well, no footie or Hockey for me this weekend so just the usual mens hoops.

#1 – Under the basket running

#2 – Slam dunk the funk

#3 – Give me the ball. Originally I deleted this but I went back as I quite liked the player in the foreground

#4 – Mid air passing

#5 – Don’t you hate it when the focus is too slow

#6 - Trying something a bit different as I'd already obtained my required # of keepers. I had all these ideals floating around about setting up remotes above the hoop with wide angle lenses etc but then I realised I don't have and remotes nor wide angles :D

Comments welcome as usual.

That is one of the nicest looking gyms I have seen. And yes, I hate those dang shots where focus didn't cooperate. Looks like you had a good time at it.

Ha! ....yea .... I always blame the equipment, too ...

But, sadly, it's usually ME that's too slow ....

Thanks for the comments, the lighting is not great to be honest. It's bearable though. ISO1250, F1.8 and 1/320. I also had +1/3 over exposure as well.

Thanks cecilc, usually it is me :), this time it was the lens as I have 5 or 6 perfectly exposed OOF shots from this sequence. How on earth did people get by before AF I have no idea.

Those are some nice photos, a bit high on noise though.

What lens were you using?

Thanks Swift, I used a 1D MKI with a 50mm 1.8. I've not run these through any noise removal software. ISO on all is 1250.
