These look like magazine quality photos to me!
If I had to recommend something, it would be to step up the shutter speed or pan with the subject. Some of them look fuzzy and it looks like the focal point on a few may be off.

Yep, make sure you're on AF-servo and try and up that shutter speed. They all look soft to me, but with a little practice, you'll get those nicely frozen pics you see in the magazines. Your composition and everything else seem very good.

I have been using AF Servo but it always seems blurred to me also, Using predictive AF gets me better results but a laggy shutter speed. I can't get a higher shutter with the flash whenever I change the shutter the flash changes it back to 250 :( and I was panning with the subject, I feel like I'm doing everything right but still just not getting those perfectly sharp action shots. I was going to rent a 580ex Flash and see if that would help, I think my $150 flash is what is holding back my shutter speeds. A off camera system is what I will be working towards

Steven, if you want to perfect your panning, practice on something much faster. Go to your local BMX track, maybe find some sort of racing event. Just shoot all day and pan. I think my panning practice most paid off when shooting motocross.

Thats the prob. I only have problems panning on slower subjects. I have shot lots of drag races, downhill bike races BMX. All with way better results. Oh well practice makes perfect.

get closer, get lower, shutter at 1/250th (if you can sync to that), no tilting the camera, either horizontal or vertical, no ass shots either
