ROFL.

You need a 200-image buffer to catch the whole sequence of one of these birds lifting off. By the time this guy got airborne I was focused past infinity.

LOL

Those are cool pics of swans taking off. Sure wish our imported swans from a few years ago had taken a liking out this place and stayed so that I can also take cool pictures of them taking off!

THe funny thing is they will take their two footbal fields to take off, so they will be airborne just in time to land again because you've appeared at the other side of the lake to feed them.

Now when they are flying towards you with the intention of landing sometime soon that is the time to be afraid.

We now have a s*^t load of turkey buzzards up here too. The Gov decided to import some to clean up road kills. They are some type of ugly. They are mostly up North so we don't get to enjoy their beauty here in Montreal.

I thought you were up North? ??? You mean there's a North more North than where you are? ??? Yeehaa! Undiscovered territory. Time to get out the pan and pick ax and head North of North and find me some gold bullions so I can buy me a 1D mkII!

I thought you were up North?

This reminds of one time at work... We had a bunch of geese who frequented the parking lot at work and left many presents, which required dodging when walking for the car. One of my co-workers muttered profanity about the birds, and asked "Aren't they supposed to fly South for the winter?"

My reply: "They're Canadian geese. This is South!"

Big birds, big presents.
