Yeh....the city never sleeps.....that wasn't the only boat out there either. Amazing.

Actually, I got lucky. I shot it in December, when it was still 65 degrees outside. From what I read these days, the scientists agree it was due to global warming that it was that warm out in december. ;)

Very cool shot - How come the lights from the boat weren't completely across the shot?

I'm sure the 'light ends' mark a start point and end point of the exposure. The boat doesn't show up due to its motion, which must've been just fast enough (and dark enough) to not even ghost in the image.
