Figured I'd mess around beings the steam was heading towards me tonight and wanted to give this a try for a while now. Beings I just got my camera, I don't have a remote and also no tripod. So camera shake was pretty much inevitable here...

Taken at 30 sec exposure, f16, ISO 100...

I like it, very creepy vibe to the image.

Really not bad at all considering the 30 second handheld.

Thanks for the comments... I hope to catch it again only when the wind is much stronger and more steady, giving it a better smoke plume over time. Plus with a tripod and remote, much better situation! ;)
