Hi,
This friday i've received my Canon 10D. This is a new add to my canon family (also got a S45).

As soon as I opened the box, I aimed at one of my favorite subject. My cats. I was pleased with loosing something I didn't had control with my S45. Dept of Field.

The next morning one of my friend called. He has a "special" basketball game he wanted me to assist.

This was one of the worst condition for shooting I ever had.
- LOW LIGHT
- MOVING SUBJECT

I've taken 200 pics in two 20 minutes games. I've deleted 75% of them. I had to go to ISO 800 and 1600 in order to get good shutter speed.

Finaly, I assisted to a theater act in the evening. That was not so bad. I wasn't seatting too far from the scene. But I realise that the 28-135 isn't a FAST lens.

Here is what is included in my Kit :

Sekonic L-358 (flash meter, for when I'm in the studio)
Sandisk 512m Ultra, Lexar 258m ultra slow card.

Just as an aside-isn't that wheely basketball AWSOME.The effort they expend is really imressive to watch. :D
Every time the paralympics are on i make a point of watching it even though i despise normal basketball

I think that they are pretty impressive. This event was a reunion for handicap players to play with their friends and family.
