This was my first trip to California and first encounter with a pelican. He didn't seem to mind me taking his picture as long as I didn't get close enough for him to swallow my head.
This was taken with a Rebel XTi, kit lens (18-55mm) Av set to f/8 at 31mm (I think.)
I did some PP can't remember exactly what besides cropping and sharpening.
This was taken the day after my brother-in-law's wedding and all those pictures turned out horrible. I thought my camera was broken or dirty or something. There was very poor light, but I was using a rented 430ex flash. I took most of my pictures there on P mode and they all look underexposed and noisy. Oh well, I’m just learning how to use this thing.
