a quirky scene I passed near downtown Albu"quirky"... shot w/ Canon IXUS 500 on auto settings, basic editing (crop, sharpen, auto exposure) done w/ ACDSee 9.0

I undstand the quirkiness you're talking about, but I think it would be better, if there wasn't so moany parked car in the background. Just a thought, I like the concept!

You should have made a left.. :)

Like the cart and the shadows on the dirt. Unfortunately the background steals from the composition.

thanks... originally I intended to upload the following shot, but opted against it as it did NOT have a background to set it in context...

Nice! I love the cart by itself!

I just read something that claimed Albuquerque was recently crowned #1 in.. It was something good too, not a useless statistic like 'most shopping carts in abandoned lots'. :)

Somehow Vegas ended up Most Obese?! That is totally ubsurd if you consider 40+% of the cities population make their wages based on their appearance.

I agree. Odd.

Now if they weren't counting the entertainers, I could understand. If I lived there I would eat at a buffet every night of the week. MMmm

Until recently, pretty decent. Lately though we've had lots of cold. Forecast changed from snow to rain for tomorrow night, but another cold snap will turn it into snow on Tuesday. Bet Florida is nice and toasty.

I like it better here in arizona. ABQ was nice, did tons of hiking and all that, but after 3 years I decided arizona was a better fit for me. I can see living there again once I retire, but thats about it. have a good one.

I actually have relatives I've never met who live in Chandler... don't even know their last names to be honest, it's my mom's mom's sister's kids
lol

I hated ABQ w/ a passion at first... and now I miss it like crazy
