Sydney/NSW/Anyone Sunrise/Sunset POTNAC meet

Update 27/2 : Instead of people all massing to one location the idea is to get people from all over Australia taking sunrise and/or sunset shots all on the same day (same time maybe too?) then post all the different variations in a new thread

So John formely known as Prince, i mean Kiwi :P named names :) and we have quite a few people from all over aust. especially NSW, so who is up for a Sydney/NSW/anyone Sunrise/Sunset shoot somehwere soon? I know Luka aka linarms is i am sure carzee and john will be in on it if they are not busy and we give enough notice, so if you are keen put your names down and when/date suits you and what day. With the sunrising a little later now 5am would be the best meet time i would say for a shot and about 8pm? for a sunset.

lol - Canberra is around 3 hours from Sydney - hehe - there is a challenge for you!

Actually - a get together is great - another slant on it, though, is to make it Australia wide and see if we can get sunrise/sunset pics on one particular day from all over OZ - the more the merrier and if people can form groups for it, all the better.

Many of you don't know - that the ACT currently is about to double its membership here - Carzee (Ross) is in the throes of moving as we type - so, in the not too distant future, we should be able to have some team events here.

If anyone is interested in travelling to Canberra for a shoot, let me know. If you are house-trained I could even offer a place to sleep. :)

Maybe come up with a date and location.
I would hope to get along, don't mind getting up early or very early if there is travel required.

my suggestions will just be in the sydney area as thats all i know

- Sydney Harbour (overdone though i think)
- Coogee Baths

hmm ill have to give it some more though, as far as time goes sunrise s about 630am now so arrival at say 545am

I'm keen if the time and date suits. I'd probably go down to Moreton Bay and get a shot of the sun rising over the bay. I'll also mention this in our Brissie thread.

Edit 1 oops how the #$%@ did I manage to post twice?

edit 2 aaah just realised. I had the post written but not submitted and then I restarted firefox after a extension update. The text was still in the message box so I just hit submit, but the firefox restart had already done this so hence two posts. duh

Guys - from the 8th March through to the 25th March I will be away from Canberra and overseas for most of it so, if you decide to do it during that time, try to let me know and I'll have to try to send something in 'long-distance'.

I'd love to be in on this but I work Sat and Sun mornings which is, I assume, the ideal time for most. If I get enough notice I might be able to get the morning off. I'd like to head out to Toowoomba and get a shot from on top of the range out that way.

how about suggesting both a sunrise and sunset shoot, name the day, and where-ever we are, we shoot! that way, those who are working in the morning, can do a sunset shoot, and vice versa.
