I just received an email from B and H. They have the 50mm f/1.8 in stock. How long is anyones guess.

Although the B and H website says it is out of stock...interesting. Why would they send me an email saying it is in stock?

The email was sent yesterday, as soon as i read it i went to their site and the server wouldn't let me access their site, it gave me a page saying pretty much "wow, so many people...gahhh!"

You'll have to wait till the next round.

I actually already have one...I was just posting it for the benefit of others...but apparently I was a little tardy.

I took some pictures with the lens at a floral show this weekend and it was wonderful. I would post some pictures if I had a way to do so.

When I read this, it was in stock. When I checked this morning to order it, it was not.

to order. B&H seems to sell these out in less than 24 hours. I was checking at least twice a day when I finally got a chance to order mine. It was OOS in am, in stock in the afternoon (I ordered) and OOS the following morning.
