I am looking for a compact bag for two bodies with lenses.
This is a relative question, because the cameras and lenses are large compared to standard cams.

I want a bag that will handle and not be to bulky:

D60 w/BG-ED, 16-35f2.8
1DmkII w/70-200f2.8
550EX flash
1 spare 1D battery.

I plan on only having one camera out of the bag at a time and want to carry this bag while shooting. I looked at a tamrac but the thing was huge...I would need wheels or a back surgeon..

I'm really happy with my Krist bag from L.L. Bean (http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=1&qs=5092458-TRbobkristbag&storeId=1&categoryId=30151&feat=xs). That's what I've been using for my everyday "street" bag. Although two pro-sized bodies may be tough.

Here's some more info (http://www.digitalfocus.net/sections/reviews/BobKristBag/BKB_1.htm)

I like the way the Tamrac bags let you lay the camera, with lens, horizontally so you can pick it up and go. The Big Ed will fit in there as well with a little adjustment. But if you want to carry two bodies with the 70-200 on one, you are looking at model 608, 610, or 612. The 612 and the lighter-duty 5612 are really big bags, though.

Hope this helps

try this : http://lowepro.com/pages/series/trekking/supertr.htm.
just check the size in the characteristics (especially internal and external measurments). I was little surpised to find it BIGGER than what I expected. but otherwise, it's a VERY confortable and practical bag for mostly all gear and condition. Ralatively cheap (best deal at henry's.com on ebay)
good luck

I really like my Lowepro Omni AW Belt Pack - it took a little getting used to but it is comfortable and will hold two camera bodies although I only have one at this point. Holds my DRebel with kit lense, flash, macro lense, zoom lense, extra batteries and extra CF cards with room to spare. I also like the fact that it is a belt pack that I can move around to my front and get into without having to remove. Just my two cents.

Again, LowePro, but take a look at the Stealth Reporter series of bags, something like the 500AW. Direct link: here (http://www.lowepro.com/pages/bySeries/stealth.htm)

Great set of features across the range.

Love the 300AW (which I use). I'm actually on my second one after trashing the first when I fell over a barbed wire fence.

I can have this bag over my shoulder all day without aches or pains, can get the cemra out of the bag (with lens attached) without putting the bag down. It is also fairly weatherprrof and you can move all the dividers around etc.

Cheers
