Hi there,
My local college does an advanced Digital Camera Course, covering things such as RAW and manipulation in Photoshop CS2. It costs £120 for 2 full days.
Do people think its worth the money? Or should I just learn myself and through books and web?
thanks guys!

If you can comfortably afford it, then do it. There's nothing like hands on experience and learning from doing. You'll probably get a lot of out it.

Thanks
I think I will go for it, I agree with you, I think I will learn a lot more through hands on training.

Now I feel guilty about spending your money for you...! lol.
I just feel that learning from forums and books is a fairly "dry" way of learning something new, it's just easier when you've got someone there to teach you so you can ask questions and get into a real dialogue.
Don't forget to take some of your own RAW files that you feel might be challenging and see how the tutors deal with them.

def. go for it...
so much easier to learn with someone directly helping you....plus it wontbe like pulling your own teeth out.
