They held their launch for Vista and Office 2007 in an ice house. I can think of warmer places to do it in.

Didn't have to worry about any of the systems overheating!

Maybe it's a subliminal message in disguise. Put VISTA under a little heat and the whole thing starts to fall apart. JJJ

Does Vista have any backwards compatibility?

Talked to my computer tech friend yesterday - he said wait at least a few months; he also said "if it isn't broken . . . . ".

I just got Vista on a new PC i Built, it's very pretty with a couple of nice touches. Just don't expect it to work with anything more than a day old.(wi-fi card, tv tuner, camcorder, adobe premiere elements 2. Photoshop Elements 4 works but Vista gives me a warning everyime I open it). I'm starting to wish i'd bought XP!

Funny how this ice bar/hotel/church etc is growing... now everyone wants to do it... but we know where the original idea came from: http://www.icehotel.se/Content/AbsolutIcebar/ (i.e. my neck of the woods).

Quebec’s Winter Carnival has been building them since 1954. And St. Paul Minnesota has been building then since 1886, and Anna Ivanovna build a ice palace in 1740. But the real folks who should be credited are the Inuit. They have been building ice residences for maybe 10,000 years or more.

Yes, and Sweden has natives too... called Sami's. Genetically related to the Inuites. :)

Well, there's Sami's that live further south of the Arctic cricle too, in the region I live, there's plenty. Although we don't have reindeers running on the street's that some in the south keep thinking. :D
