Has this ever happened to you?
I ordered something from b&h on wendsday night, and it was finally shipped out today. I chose UPS Internation Express (cost 81 dollars) and it was changed to ups worldwide saver. I chose Express because they do saturday delivery and they get the package delivered inbetween 10:30 and 12:00.
Is this normal or should I call and complain?

You can call and inquire about the reason for the change. I would hold off on the complaining until you get some facts.

Was this your first order from B&H ? It took more time the first time I ordered from them, for verifications I guess, but I ordered a lens yesterday, and asked to have it shipped through US Postal. I received confirmation of shipping later last night, so same day.
I used UPS before and had to pay brokerage fee$.

if you use ups express or expidated your expempt from brokerage. Ups ground your subject to brokerage... thats why b&h no longer offers it for international orders
edit: Also gotta love their love for west coast customers and there 7:00 am verification process wakeup call.

Unless it is a particular rush, I use USPS as well.
My last order took 4 days to clear, staffing and workload issues, and I used a different credit card. By the way, Mr. Posner deep discounted the shipping to correct for the time lag, Great guy.
The orders I use Express always went Express.
No idea why the service was changed. Send an e-mail and ask.

Just recieved my package from B&H and it took less than a week to arrive, shipping cost was $27 for a Slingsack, focusing screen and a off shoe cord 2. Had to pay taxes of a little over $30. What I did not like is I had to pay taxes on the shipping, not sure if this is normal but I still saved money in the long run and I figured it was not worth complaining over a few dollars and being under the microscope for the next order.
