Both were shot at Wamena (Papua Barat, Indonesia) with a Canon 1d mk2. The first one with a Canon 85mm f/1.2; the second one with a Canon 70-200mm f/4.0. Both have been converted with the double saturation layer technique.
I would be really interested in your opinion, critiques, comments!
Thank you so much, Carlo
BTW, in the second pic the lady is reminding me that I had to give her 1000 Indonesian Rupees (20 cent more or less) for her work as a model!

each wrinkle tells a story... many stories to tell from the first photo! Great shots, keep them coming.

the man looks like a tree! a little too much contrast - i feel you have lost a little shadow detail by pushing it too far, however i might very well be wrong! nice shots none the less :)

I am not familiar wth the double saturation technique... but they are deeply interesting faces

If I were to see the first photo in color, I am positive it would be bronze. What an amazing face.

I like the shots and PP. Gives them a real deep and gritty feel. Nice work!
