#1 is nice. 2 needs a bit of cropping.
No EXIF, so give us some info ;)

If your website is just you I would say these are on the downside of your ability! Love the first one of the bridal party!!! Anyway, please post when you have PP'd them.

bull****! :D

you know what you're doing. actually, you are one of the best shooters here if those are straight from a canon eos300D rebel with a kit lens. either that or you shoot in one of the best lighted clubs in north america.

the color balance is gorgeous and "thick" with very good control of highlights [people often blow the highlights on full stage shots]. Noise looks almost nonexistent.

are those really straight from a canon 300D rebel with a kit lens. or are these from your film camera?

p.s. only corrections I make is to the color temp - photos and skin are very warm/reddish(???) and I will try to bring back some more highlight detail in the first one in the amp and the white shirt.

my apologies, this was shot last night w/ my digital rebel,
but i was using a 70-200mm 2.8 IS for these shots.
i didn't even end up switching to the nifty fifty, it was
so much fun shooting w/ the 70-200 from the back of the venue!

dwight: thanks for your kind words. wishbox is just me,
and i'm hoping things in my photo work will take flight soon!

i don't have time to PP them right now, i'm off to go play with this lens
while i have it for the weekend. after the concert, i'll also will
be shooting a soccergame, a volleyball tournament and most
importantly, my parents' 40th wedding anniversary...

cheers!

great job then. I saw some of your wedding stuff. you do really know what you are doing and you have a clear "look"/ style.

like I said, just a little too warm, but that is quite common straight out of the camera. both of them should clean up very nice.

congrats to your parents. they should be very proud of you for finding a talent [photography] that you are so skilled and passionate of.

Thanks for sharing these. I'm shooting them when they roll through Boston. They're in "The Collective" with Apples in Stereo, who I shot last weekend. Crazy fun! Love the costumes. Can't wait. :-)

Cheers!
