I heard PS CS will process raw images.
How do I see this option in PS, and how can I set Canon 10D to take pictures in raw format?.
Thank you

On your 10D, turn it on,. click on the "menu" button

At the very top of the menu there is a setting called
"Quality" where ypou can select any of a number of file types,. use big wheel to highlight the word "Quality" and press the button in the middle of the big wheel.

Now use the wheel and scroll within the "Quality" menu to "RAW"
Press the button in the Wheel again.

Now it should say

[ "Quality RAW" ]

......in a red box at the top of the screen.

Now when you shoot,. you will record RAW files. ( .crw)

Open these files in Photoshop and the RAW Utility will automatically kick in...

This would be a good time to review your owners manual. Shooting RAW has extras but can be damaging if you don't use the proper settings.

Note: the choice of raw format will not be available when using one of the easy-shooting zones. You must use P, Av, Tv, or M.

What do you mean? I always thought that RAW is actually safer: you can change some settings during the conversion stage.

Only that if you have to ask on how to get a RAW file to show up in PS that someone may need to do some reading on RAW workflow. I also shoot RAW but after trial & error & a whole lot of reading. Hate to see someone go out on a major shoot & mess up without learning the ins & out
