I have really enjoyed the threads on who of us is going to shoot which concerts but they get overburdened and die out so I thought I'd start one with a time limit. Every now and then it might be fun to do this.
So, I am shooting Dolly Parton on Thursday at the Chumash Casino Resort ... they had to smash down part of a wall that opens into a storage room at one side of the stage and put in a roll-up door to accommodate Dolly's grand piano that has to be rolled on and off the stage. Since the stage is about four feet above the floor, they will use temporary platforms in the storage room large enough to hold the piano ... the casino employees some very experienced talent of their own when it comes to production and no task ever seems to be too large or difficult.

Whoa, Narlus, none of them can sing and their "themes" are trite! Ah, that's why they call themselves a comedy band. :-)

I think i might make the trip to Worcester, MA tomorrow and take photos of The Acacia Strain and Job For a Cowboy. Its in the Upstairs of the Palladium and its bassically like a small night club. Downstairs is where the good lighting is. I havnt been to a show to shoot since...Early November. In a few weeks ill be back into it

Thursday 15: Sanne Wallis de Vries (Cabaret). Something different for a change.
Saturday 17: A balladeer & Swelter.
Slightly off topic: Yesterday I shot a local metal band competition. One of the bands (One Bullet Left) consisted of guys ageing between 12 and 15 (!) They got 2nd place. Wow.

Many years ago in the Conroe area, His Uncle Richard, was a friend of mine...We would go clubbing occasionally to town or Spring or FM 1960. We lived at Walden...
Rock on Mr. Zepp...and keep us abreast of the gig.
