Hiya All,
Well it's been pouring down again here all day so I've been playing, the first shot is the original, boring dull n horrid, the second I had a play with in E5 & stacking.
As a background I wanted to have a Satiny look so I used the Smudge tool amongst others to get the effect as I don't have anything that is made of Satin & Ami said " there's no way your using my knickers  spoil sport.
Two more close ups comming
C & C welcome
Cheers for now

I tried stacking the portrait, it sorta worked but I found it really hard trying to shoot this this through the bluebell frame.
Cheers for now

That last shot is a cracking shot Mark - that's your best yet with that new lens :) Definitely getting in the swing of it. #1's lighting doesn't look quite right (or maybe white balance?), #2 is awkward cos one of the leaves is blocking the faeries face, #3 is better, but not close enough!!!

Hiya Dave,
Many thanks for your comments, I really didn't expect any replies for this, as I did it mostly for a challenge to myself, I had tried so many times to shoot this damn thing & failed 'cause I couldn't get the focus past that bluebell framework which annoyed me intensely, then after all the time I spent buggering around I thought I may as well post it just to see what feedback if any I got:lol:
The first shot was a case of just showing what the subject was, at the time I couldn't be arsed to find a good shot, frustration & annoyance took over, thats my excuse for #1,
#2 was the only shot that was half way usable enough for me to play with in E5,
#3 was to give that secret garden peering through the hedge look but my arty side is crap,
#4 was a stack of three & I was reasonable pleased with it.
That's it in a nutshell :o
Cheers for now

HI Mark. Glad to see that you persevered through the frustration. #4 works well. Keep it up.

Hiya Irwin, Brian,
Many thanks for your comments, Here you go |Brian one lightened version jus vur ee.
I don't really like this still life stuff but there's a distinct lack of life round here I've even resorted to going under the stairs up in the loft, garden shed & even my old Wellies, I'm sure some unscrupulous swine has been spraying insecticide to stop me having fun
Cheers for now
Mark
