Another "whatever happened to..."

Bob Gross. I ran across an old post of his today and remembered that he gave lots of good advice. It appears that he hasn't posted in over a year. Just curious.

Bob was always one of my favorite members.. a truly unique personality and in fact quite brilliant under all that gruffness.

He had a bit of a run in with the forums rules and has not come back much since.

We miss him though, and wish that enforcing the forums rules fairly did not ever result in such a response. :(

Thanks for the reminder...both for the rules and mostly Bob. We had some interesting differences of opinions. All in all a pretty sharp guy.

Yeah - I just had the same thing come up with me today. I found some old posts and wondered "whatever happened to..."

Anyway, it sucks that people get into silly disputes over things and then let their pride get in the way of positive resolutions. The good news is that there are always more new people coming onboard and bringing new ideas and information to the table. Mods have done a pretty steady, pretty good job as far as I can tell.
