red shadows where the light is...do not know what to do! Suggestions please

Just gym lights doing their thing. I would suggest setting a custom white balance the next time and shoot in raw. You should be able to post process these and reduce most of that color cast. There was no exif data on your pics, it would help to know your settings.

Ok, a bit off topic, but I have to ask. I keep seeing that others can read the EFIX data of someone else's photo. How is that embedded into the image? I usually just post the data as text. Am I missing something? Thanks.

its only available when using the save as command - if the save for web command is used, then all exif is lost..

Fluorescent lights go through cycles....the color cast they throw will drive you nuts. Set the WB manually and shoot in raw. Most will be OK, but several (and usually the best shot of the day) will be screwed up and you will need to adjust it in PP.
