I recently got a 10D and have taken a few online courses. So far all of my stuff has been saved and manipulated in PS in JPEG format. As my talent gets better I understand I should primarily shoot in RAW format if I'm concerned with having a lossless file of the image. With that being said, what is the "best" card to use in the 10D. I believe I've read that the 10D doesn't support some of the faster CF cards and it wouldn't do me much good if I purshased one i.e. LEXAR. Is that true? Also, I liked the idea that their 640MB fits conveniently onto a CD. Thanks in advance:-)!

I have 3 1GB Cards. 1 -IBM Microdrive and two Lexar Pro cards which are rated at 40X write speed.
I haven't had any problems with them and my recommendation would be the Lexar.

I have been using 2 SanDisk Ultra 512MB for my 10D and I have no complain. I also have a 20GB X Drive on the side for instant storage so I don't need any card bigger than 512MB.

I've had great luck with SimpleTech Pro X.

Go to:
http://www.robgalbraith.com/
and look for the link to the 'CF Database'. It has tests of write speed for many cards on the 10D.

Yeah...that's the same article I read. So...I guess the Sandisk Extreme 1GB would be the best? Also, thanks to everyone who answered my query.

Sorry to bother you again, but I forgot to ask what is the difference between SanDisk's "Extreme" 1G and their regular CF 1G?
