TF and FC... ahh what an experience. Its the only time you as a photographer, look through your viewfinder and see nothing but a blurred image of what you think should be a race car. Its also the only time when you are panning at 1/500th and still get wild looking backgrounds. :)

btw, nice shots! Getting those at dark can be TRICKY!

Victor, #2 is an absolute peach. Not sure about the cropping on the other 3, but #2 is right on the money.

Acutally I was shooting at 1/125th or slower with a 500mm f4 hand held :rolleyes:

On the crops, as with my aviation shots I like the action to focus more on the pilot/driver and the action "In-Ur-Face"... but that's me, I follow my own path and my own rules...

Again, fantastic shots! I really like that "In-Ur-Face" look to, and your pic of Hot Rod Fuller is my favorite. And I need to say that of your pbase gallery, the two shots of the Top Alcohol dragsters (when that one went up on two wheels - twice!) are one in a million shots. Great gallery!
