I was competeing in a Time Attack event this weekend and grabbed some pics of the competition. I forgot I loaned out my usual lens so I only had my wide angle. These are nothing special just some nice cars I thought you might appreciate. No PP just a resize and border batch processed, not even USM that I should have done.

Well, damn! Some fine cars in that assortment. Can't say I'm a fan of many of the wheel choices, though. I like the NSX and the last shot :)

Is that a Flat Black Mercedes? Talk about stealth. Do you know if they ordered it that way?

I think that the mercedes belong to the owner of DC shoes(the guy that also races for the subaru rally team. There was a guy there in a subaru rally team race suit and that mercedes had a DC badge on the back of it. I will guarentee that the flat black is not a factory option, haha.

The sad thing is that I was stuck in the same class as most of these guys, some of the fastest tuner cars in the country with 500-600+ wheel horsepower and race tuned suspensions.

That hankook car is an imported Silvia and was blazing fast. I also was hoping the pic gave a good sense of the atmosphere, it was one of the few times that the garage was almost empty as well.

me? none. I'm just a track junky. The Time Attack was just the next available track day and I had never done one before so I though it'd be fun. I know next time to ditch the R compounds and get a set of street tires so I don't get grouped with these beasts. I only have 190hp haha. I actually didn't run in the competition on Sunday because of the rain, didn't want to risk the car as I had to still drive it home.

That Mercedes looks mean! I wish I would've known about that, I would've gone up there for sure.
