First one is best by a fair margin: Second is cropped a bit odd, third is covered by a microphone, and lighting is very harsh. A different viewpoint *might* have helped. It certainly would have helped improve the background.
#4 doesn't seem sharp & BG is very distracting....
#1 is nice though.
Wow, 2004... And here I am thinking I am slow ;)
Got any more recent shots?

Got any more recent shots?#2 was only cropped width-wise - it is full hight
#4 Was taken JUST as he started to move to the mike, hence the blur
#3 That is where she was the whole time - she didn't move.
Part of the issue with this show was there were VERY few areas where one was allowed to shoot from - and not having a press-pass meant I was in within the crowd
#1 LeAnne walked to the edge of the stage and sang the entire song from there so getting a good shot of her was MUCH easier.

When you can afford a Taylor, why not get one!
Especially that one; a DDSM.
Then again, I'm just a tad partial to Taylors.
Pretty nice shots, by the way. My favorite, by far, is Jeff Bates...

i thought you said you wanted c&c?
#4 is soft [the mic is sharp].why not take more than one shot or adjust your settings to capture him without blur. were your other shots even softer?
#3 I like. I think it's your best shots. colors extremely rich. the mic is not completely covering her mouth so you still get expression from her. it's always ideal to get the full mouth but this, like guitar heads, is not always possible.
p.s. why are you shouting "JUST" and"VERY" ... again, you said you wanted c&c. if you want to explain why the shots came out as they did, that's fine, but there is no need to shout. that's not very good manners to say you want c&c and then seem to be resentful when you receive it.

Great colors...nice shots as a set...Thank you! I looked online at some of the pics the stations photog took, man they sucked, so the next time saw my favorite DJ out and about, I gave him some 8x10's of these. He said I should have shot for them - I agreed. Hehehe!

When Bootsey Collins got his bass stolen, wasn't he defunked?
:D
Great shots, BTW. Jeff Bates is my favorite of the pics. It really captures his stage personality.

I hear you on this one... Your photos are not the typical run of the mill, average guy shots...They'd "knock the sox off" a lot of people...
I've got a similar situation here, with a local station...one of the key managers was spiteful to me... while all other employees are real nice to me and really like my pics... So I'm staying retired.
