Well these are my first every decent shots of these guys... I still do not have a shot of a male with the hood up in all his glory, but one day that time will come :)

here he is now with the hood well... frozen solid hehe

And here is the Mrs... yea... she "really cares that he is even there...

then he came in for a closer look and all of a sudden she woke up...

Great series, nice close up feather detail! This is one of one of my very favorite ducks :) Enjoyed the captions also, cute!;)

Thanx for looking guys glad you like these. Sometimes I wonder why do I go out in a COLD (-20C) and brave the winds off lake Ontario... but then I come home and see what I got :) and I do it all over again.

The second shot really does it for me. Good series overall!
