Moody Cork Shots.

Hi,

Shot these the other day with a 50mm + 12mm extention tube. Shot the first one at f/5.6 and the second at f/1.4. I wasn't really 'going' for anything in particular, I just had some spare time and decided to mess around. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

I love the first pic, great shot. Looks like something out a winery brochure.

The second picture doesn't seem to have the best focus/DoF. Composition and lighting work well but the "in-focus" cork is still a bit fuzzy.

Thanks.　Yeah, I agree that the "in focus" cork in the second one is not sharp enough. It was very difficult to get it even that sharp. I think it is so soft because I shot wide open with an extention tube. I probably should have taken it down to f2.0 or maybe a little more.
