Next time you have a long stay in a hotel take your camera outside. After all that Diet Pepsi you should have had enough caffine to find inspiration somehow.

I get stuck in hotels all the time. A few of my favorite pictures came from a long stay at the Philadelphia Airport Hilton. This hotel is ringed by highways and industrial parks. I thought the area was hopeless for photography. But I went out looking anyways and came out with some cool photos.

This is something that would be more striking as a collection.

Maybe if you do a bunch of 'em with the same feel and colors........

Just by itself................it looks a little odd.

A straight picture would have worked better. PS doesn't add anything to the ennui you're trying to project. It distracts, with a muddle of color.

No real conscious theme. New camera and new photoshop -- played around and liked the colors.

Reply from Buckley: I did do several in this way of different people. I only posted one so I didn't over indulge on readers' patience. If you're interested in the rest they are posted at www.qwoz.fotopic.net.

You're right. A good straight photo is always best. However, this original was not so hot. I preferred the colors in this one.

Wandering around outside and taking pictures is frowned on.
