My first time lapse pic- just doing this handheld every now and then- bit worried my camera would dissappear if I left it on a tripod in my front garden :). It sort of works. The pic is an animated gif from 5 shots- may take a little while to load.

Thanks :)
All I did was crop and align the pics approximately in PS then saved the resulting pics in a separate folder. Then I used adobe imageready to pic up the folder using Import/folder as frames. I think there's lots of other animated GIF progs out there though. When you have finished playing with timing and resizing you save optimised as (Gif)

imageready is the best program at making animated gif files, and its soo easy.

if you have photoshop you have imageready.

wicked pics man, was that using a macro lens, if so how did you get the focus so good?

Thanks ss4ya :)
Shots were taken with my Sigma 105mm macro lens. camera in manual 1/200th, F13, Iso 200. Camera mounted external flash set in ETTL mode using the head at 45' with a paper deflector on it (see pic). Using my knee to rest the camera on.

Thanks for the comments everyone. No the camera does not have a time lapse function but you can get external controllers to do this I believe. I just wandered up every now and then and took a shot if they looked difeerent to the previous time. The time from first to last is about an hour.

i like your bounce card, must provide a nice large surface for the light to reflect off
