I know its an oxymoron but I've seen it done.............Just trying to be a little artistic :-)
Opinions??

Two different ways of using color... In the first shot the color focuses attention of the central subject; in the second it draws attention away from the subject. I prefer the first image in terms of color use. I prefer the composition and subject of the second image and would omit the color.
BTW - the cop must be in NYC. Only there would a traffic cop have his hands in his pockets. :)

HA HA!! You're absolutely correct......
Thanks for the comments............I agree with the 2nd picture. I decided to bring up the green as that was the most colorful part of the photograph. I should've included it more in the frame........:-)

Yes, it was edited under PS.
Basically, I used the magic wand to select the dominant color. Then I used a mask to fine tune the unselected areas. Inverted selection and used Channel Mixer to change it to B&W. Give it a try!!!

I like both. I like the green tint. I wonder if you made her hat a pastel color, instead of the bench? :oops:
