Having some fun playing with my new 60mm Macro :)
An experiment for me, I have seen this done all over the forum and it really tickled my fancy. My efforts are nowhere near what I have seen displayed, but thought I would post anyway.
I did learn that I should clean the CD first when I try this again
All comments welcome!

Thanks guys :D It was quite fun to set up. My 17 year old was giving me very strange looks as I was hovering over the CD and dripping water on it, lol!
I really could do without the random specs of whatever, though.

Good job Terri. The first one is my favorite. As for the little specks...healing and clone tool in photoshop works wonders.

Well done Terri! The colors are GREAT! I love that I can see your window in the second one too. :) Nevermind about the specks - just clone/heal them out afterwards. :D

Thanks Athena :D The reflections in some of the shots were fun. One of them (not posted) has my 'Jaiydann wall' reflected, lol!

Puds: My set up was quite sophisticated  I used a table tray for a stand, set a white board on top, then came the DVD, then the drops. Daisy on her tripod, using remote cable and on board flash with a little boost from hubbys mag-lite :) I will say that another hand would have been helpful, tis a bit cumbersome to hold the mag-lite and the shutter and adjust settings, lol!

KEWL, #1 being my fav. Thanks for the details, the one time I shot a CD I could not get the colors, will have to try again, hopefully this weekend.

mispix: You probably don't need all those lights if you can move your little portable table near a window. I just did mine on the kitchen counter near a window. When I did the coffee drops I even had to close the blinds to cut down the light. That is probably why you have some of the blown out white portions. I look through the viewfinder at the CD first to determine where I want the drops to go and I avoid the spots that are blown out white. Your's look terrific. I am just offering suggestions.

Thanks Becky :D

Char: I appreciate the tips! Natural light is my preference in most things and will definitely try that route on the next go :D
