I took this shot on a misty, snowy day out the car window whilst doing about 80mph down the dual carriageway (I wasn't driving!).
Each time I see it I'm more drawn into it as it shows both stillness and motion in the same frame. I've thought about cropping it but I'm not really sure what to do with it.
How does the picture 'grab' you guys?
At first impression it's probably a 'what the....??' but does that change or is this just a waste of time?

Couple of thoughts - First, is it a composite of 2 images?
Second - I would like to see where *you* would crop. I had to give it the once over twice about 3 times to see the stationary tree. Too much other stuff going on. My fear is that (like me) too many people would just dismiss it as a blurry window shot without really looking.
All in all - Like!
PS - I recently had the oppertunity to do some pan shots - please look and comment on http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=27666

I could made a little crop bottom 2 cm. But you are the author.
These photos are in middle way between photo and painting, and are diffucult to judge, just look at them.
I don't know why, but this photo remember me The Lord of the Rings.
But if I look at it more, I can hear someone cry.
Perhaps I'm a little mad.
Ciao

Overall, it grabs me!
I like especially, the squiggly tree behind the dark fork and then, I like the "ghost" tree on the left. I think it would benefit from cropping but not sure where. There is a lot of white space.

Rad: I'd consider cropping to this extent to remove some of the motion in this picture and bring a bit more focus to the stationary image behind

RE: Martin and Riccardo; I agree the image does have that eerie sort of aspect to it. It has a lot of depth and I'm liking it the more I see it now.
Do you think that this crop is too tight? Must admit I was a bit reluctant to cut off the 'ghost tree' on the left.

Yes - I like the crop very much. Excellent shot - very compelling to look at. You should be proud.

I preferred the first.
Now the tree seems too compressed in a little space.
The white space on the left was balanced by the ghost tree and was in sense of motion and permitted to continuate the travel....
