Yes, Amherst is near Buffalo. Actually North of Buffalo. I'm going stir crazy with the weather. Camera is still too new to me, also the most I have ever spent on myself for fun. I have a laptop but that was for college and work not a just because I want to have fun item. I'm afraid to take it out in bad weather.
I've shot the hermit crabs, even in the new tank that my husband got for them. My kids run and hide at the sight of the camera.
Maybe I should go buy some flowers? Don't really have the funds for that and I hate to watch them die.
Boy I need winter to be over, I hope the ground hog was right.

I am heading to Lockport next weekend, but I am tied up with family.

Good to know there are some people in the area though. Perhaps we could get something together come spring/summer. I love going to Letchworth State Park, Watkins Glen, Stony Brook........

I grew up in Lockport. Have some good photos from the canal tour even though it rained.
I am hopping to go back to letchworth this summer. Also can't wait for the canadian geese to start nesting. Will go out to the swaps to get some shots.
