The UPS lady delivered a Canon 28-135mm, F3.5-5.6 IS USM lens today! Woohoo! Goes on the 20D I got for Christmas. Its my first lens purchase and plan on using it for my primary lens for a while. Can't wait to get out tomorrow and shoot.....something!

Works out great since I took tomorrow off work :grin:

Congrats! Gotta post some pics...;) I just got rid of my 24-105 USM to get the Tamron.

I left last Fri morn early and we went to Memphis and I didnt have a chance to check forum until Tuesday night. Saw the replies here and then the post on the general chat forum about the history of the duck photos.

Now for the funny junior photo guy wanna be part: I had gone to the park :rolleyes: Tuesday at lunch at shot pics of DUCKS!!! :lol:

I could not believe it when I got in and read the forums. I feel so....typical.

Anyway, heres your duck (well OK its a goose)-from today though.

Was fairly pleased. Not nealy as good as some of your pics, but I'll get there-eventually.
