Given that context, I find it hilarious that he's got this giant grin on his face. I mean who the heck thinks inserting a catheter is that amusing...:D

Looks great, Pham. However, I disagree with you about this being your first landscape. Your senior shots implement a large portion of landscape style photography. That's really what sets you apart from most senior phog's that I've seen. And is why I'm not surprised that this one looks so good.

Sorry if this is out of topic.
I sold my 24-70L and bought a 70-200 f2.8 IS L.
Now I'm starting to miss my 24-70 Brick as I find it quite
difficult to take group shots in tight spaces even if I'm using
a Full-frame (5DII)
I was thinking of buying a "Brick" again but then I stumbled
upon this lens.
Do you think it would be better for me to buy this lens
instead of the 24-70?
The pictures posted here taken with this lens are AMAZING!!!!

Your images are a bit too PG to be an abercrombie ad. The guy needs to take his shirt off and show his butt crack... and the girl... well... she's way overdressed. :)

The 35L is not the sharpest of the L trinity wide open, but I am in love with it's rendering. Having said that, I still wish Canon would improve on it like they did the 24L recently.

Thanks, Shlomo. I'm gonna guess that the figures between the photos are references to Christ. If you look at the upper left of the bulletin board in the 3rd photo you can clearly see a nail head in the hand. Of course this is just a guess ;) .

Groups can be tough, you did a good job here. People have hands, they don't bother me. I spent years trying to hide them or put them in unnatural positions follow the PPofA type look. In my old age I'm changing my restricted ways. Its refreshing to see someone pulling it off not sticking to the old norms.

Understandable, the one on the left, the way her hands are positioned though, looks very uncomfortable; almost robotic and quite awkward, too. The rest are great, though.

I think if her left hand would have been moved so it didn't break at the wrist and hang on shoulder if it had been moved up on the shoulder more so it followed the natural curve over the body it would look more graceful but again I think the overall feel of the photograph far outweighs any minor perceived flaws. And you could say the girl over his left shoulder (kinda curly hair) has a smaller nose and would have probably been better at the far right of the group (frame left as looking at photo) because the broad light on the girl with the straight hair group rt (frame left) nose looks long in the that light. I think sometimes we get so caught up in over posing that we take the life out of things. To me theres a real LIFE in this photo and that trumps everything. Thats my 2 cents anyway.
