First Pictures with new 30D- My Dog

This is the first time using a dslr. These are in pretty bad light but I just wanted to try it out to see my result. C+C please.

You shouldn't use flash when taking photos of animals.
On the second photo, the white balance is off, not sure if you wanted it that way though.

I would agree with #2 WB. The 30D is a fantastic camera. Learn every function and control thoroughly, and by heart. Get so familiar with the camera you know how to change settings with your eyes closed and you can achieve great results with it. /Dan
